What's a Mollydoodle?

Hi! We’re Amy and Lori, the sisters behind Mollydoodle, an online boutique. It’s so nice to meet you. Amy lives in Tennessee while Lori calls the Florida Panhandle home. Through the magic of the Internet, we've opened a business together.

We named our little shop after Amy’s beloved labradoodle, Molly, because we were trying to think of a name that’s cute, happy, whimsical, and fun. Molly kept coming to mind because that’s exactly what she is.

 I mean, look at this cute pic of her. She's the best!

Molly likes to play and lounge in equal measure.

She's as quick to snuggle up with us on the sofa as she is eager to bolt outside to play in the backyard.

In short, she brings us comfort, joy, and fun.

That’s what we hope Mollydoodle brings you.

We wondered if naming a boutique after a dog would be confusing. Hopefully not. After all, our target audience is women—human women – and we’re not actually about dog stuff here, except perhaps for the occasional pic or video of Molly (see Exhibit A above).

 Mollydoodle’s tagline is “Happies for Home + Heart.” That’s our aim with every product we choose for the shop. You won’t find anything fancy or expensive, but each item is selected to make you smile and put a little extra pep in your step.

You know how diamonds are judged by the four Cs?  We're not selling diamonds (sorry!), but Mollydoodle also has four Cs that guide our decisions about what to put in the shop: cute, colorful, coordinating, and compliment-getting. We couldn’t make it work with the “c” motif, but we’d also throw in reasonably priced, too.

We’ve started several years ago with a few t-shirts, earrings, and bracelets. And now, we’re transitioning to tea towels, prints and small decorative accessories. And if we find something else that’s cute, coordinating, colorful, and compliment-getting who knows what else may show up at Mollydoodle.
